I'm Danielle Seymour, an independent Wedding, Family and Funeral Celebrant based in Sunderland, proudly creating bespoke ceremonies across the North East of England. Whether I'm helping a couple celebrate their wedding day, welcoming a child into the family or supporting loved ones through a heartfelt farewell, my goal is always the same - to create a ceremony that feels genuine, personal and unforgettable.
For me, being a celebrant is about far more than standing in front of people and reading words. It's about telling stories with honesty, celebrating life's most important moments and helping people create memories they'll treasure forever.
Throughout my career, I've always found fulfilment in working with people. Listening, understanding and supporting others has been at the centre of everything I've done, and over the years I've developed a deep appreciation for the importance of love, family, commitment and human connection.
Becoming a celebrant felt like a natural progression.It allowed me to combine my passion for helping others with my love of writing, creating ceremonies that truly reflect the people they are written for. Every individual, couple and family has their own unique story, and I believe those stories deserve to be told with warmth, authenticity and care.
